Discover the Growler Club: Your Gateway to Local Craft Beer
Are you a fan of craft beer — especially the kind brewed close to home? If so, the Lake Country Co-op Growler Club is the perfect way to enjoy fresh, rotating taps of locally crafted brews, all while being part of a vibrant community of beer enthusiasts.
What is the Growler Club?
The Growler Club is a unique membership program that allows you to fill growlers (large bottles, typically 64 oz) and howlers (their smaller 32 oz counterparts) with locally brewed craft beer right from the tap. You can bring in your clean Lake Country Co-op growler or howler, or purchase one on-site for a convenient and sustainable way to enjoy premium beer at home.
We typically feature six rotating flavours on tap, giving members access to a variety of styles — from crisp lagers to hoppy IPAs and rich stouts. New selections are brought in regularly to ensure there’s always something exciting to try.
You can find our Growler Bars at two Lake Country Co-op locations:
- Cornerstone, Prince Albert
- Nipawin

These breweries focus on quality, creativity, and local ingredients, often creating beers that reflect regional tastes and traditions.
Whether it's a prairie-grown wheat ale or a spruce tip IPA from the boreal forest, Canadian craft beer is about more than just flavour — it’s a celebration of community and craftsmanship. By supporting your local craft beer scene, you’re also supporting small businesses, local agriculture, and innovation in brewing.
